We are thrilled to announce that NexxtGen Football's very own Steve Halls will be part of the management team for CHARS Youth FC's Charity Football Match on Sunday, March 24th, 2024, kicking off at 2pm at Goffs Academy, Goffs Lane, Cheshunt, Waltham Cross EN7 5QW. This exciting event aims to raise vital funds for the National Deaf Children's Society (NDCS).

About the National Deaf Children's Society:

The NDCS is an extraordinary charity dedicated to empowering deaf children and their families. Their mission transcends mere assistance; they strive to create a world where every deaf child can thrive, irrespective of their level of hearing loss.

NDCS provides a plethora of services, ranging from educational resources and family support to advocacy for inclusive policies. Their initiatives span from ensuring access to quality education for deaf children to fostering a sense of community and belonging.

How Every Donation Makes a Difference:

At NexxtGen Football, we wholeheartedly believe in the power of collective action for a cause, and supporting NDCS allows us to make a meaningful impact. Every donation, regardless of its size, aids NDCS in continuing its vital work, supporting deaf children and advocating for a society that embraces their unique needs.

Whether it's supplying educational materials, facilitating family support networks, or advocating for policy changes, NDCS relies on the generosity of individuals and communities. This Charity "In-House" Tournament isn't just about the goals scored on the pitch; it's about scoring a victory for a cause aligned with our values of inclusivity and community support.

We warmly invite you to join us and show your support for this incredible cause. Let's come together for an afternoon of football, fun, and fundraising!

Best wishes,

Next week marks Neurodiversity Week 2024, an important time to celebrate and raise awareness about the diverse range of neurological differences among individuals. At NexxtGen Football, we recognise the significance of embracing neurodiversity, especially in the context of youth football, and we are fully committed to creating an inclusive environment where every player feels valued and supported.

Neurodiversity encompasses a spectrum of neurological variations, including conditions such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and dyspraxia, among others. While these differences may present unique challenges, they also bring a wealth of strengths and talents to the table. It's essential to understand that neurodiversity is not a limitation but rather a different way of experiencing the world.

As we strive to foster an inclusive football community, we believe it's crucial to accommodate the diverse needs of all players, regardless of their neurological profile. Whether it's providing additional support during training sessions, implementing sensory-friendly practices, or offering personalised coaching strategies, we are dedicated to ensuring that every player has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential on the pitch.

Steve Halls, the founder of NexxtGen Football, emphasises the importance of embracing neurodiversity in football. "At NexxtGen, we firmly believe that diversity is our greatest strength," says Steve. "By embracing the unique abilities and perspectives of neurodiverse players, we not only enrich our football community but also create a more inclusive and supportive environment for everyone."

In the world of professional football, there are several neurodiverse players who have made significant contributions to the sport. One notable example is former Premier League goalkeeper Tim Howard, who openly discusses his experiences with Tourette syndrome and ADHD. Howard's success on the pitch serves as a powerful reminder that neurodiversity is not a barrier to achievement but rather a part of what makes each individual unique.

As Neurodiversity Week approaches, NexxtGen Football reaffirms its commitment to promoting inclusivity and understanding in youth football. We encourage coaches, players, and supporters alike to embrace the diversity of neurodiverse individuals and to celebrate the talents and contributions they bring to the beautiful game.

Together, let's champion neurodiversity in football and create a more inclusive future for all players, both on and off the pitch.

Best wishes,

In the heart of Ware, a community unites for a cause that transcends the boundaries of a football pitch. On Sunday, 17th March, at 6 pm, the hallowed grounds of Ware FC Stadium at Wodson Park will bear witness to a charity football match—more than a game, a testament to compassion, resilience, and the power of coming together for a greater cause.

The stadium, a splendid venue with its covered expanse, ensures that the elements won't dampen the spirits of those gathered to show their support. A welcoming clubhouse, complete with a bar and snacks, adds an extra layer of warmth to the atmosphere, creating a space where hearts beat in unison for little Oakley (@acornupdates)

The driving force behind this initiative is the remarkable Wandering Crows FC, a team whose commitment extends beyond the confines of football. With every match they play, they raise awareness and vital funds for charities that touch lives and make a difference. Their opponents, Lads Speak Out FC, join them on the pitch, carrying the torch for men's mental health—a cause that resonates deeply in the hearts of many.

The clash of these two teams is not just a display of skill and sportsmanship; it's a declaration that, together, we can bring about change. It's an embodiment of the belief that the pitch isn't just a battleground for goals but a canvas where stories of hope and support are painted with every kick of the ball.

Amidst the cheering crowd and the competitive spirit, the true goal emerges—to create a future where little Oakley's potential knows no bounds. As the teams face off, supporters in the stands become champions for a cause that extends beyond the field—a cause that touches the life of a little boy and his family.

The match is not just an event; it's a celebration of community, a coming together of hearts that beat in harmony for a shared purpose. It's an opportunity to make a tangible difference, where the purchase of a ticket becomes a gesture of solidarity, a step towards a brighter future for Oakley.

Tickets, priced at £7 for adults and free for children, are not just entry passes; they are tokens of support, contributions to a cause that tugs at the heartstrings of everyone involved. To secure your place in the stands and be part of this inspiring event, reach out to @WanderingCrows on social media, where the journey of support for Oakley continues.

The stalls surrounding the stadium add to the festive atmosphere, with the delightful presence of Memory Scents—a cherished contributor to the cause. In the midst of the football fervor, these stalls serve as reminders that, beyond the pitch, a community stands united, offering hope, love, and the promise of a better tomorrow.

As the whistle blows and the match unfolds, Ware FC Stadium transforms into a stage where the rallying cry for Oakley echoes loud and clear. Join this collective surge of support, witness the magic of unity on the pitch, and be part of a story that goes beyond football—a story of compassion, resilience, and the unwavering belief that, together, we can make a difference.

Best wishes,
